FutureLearn Workshop

On 19th August we had a visit from David Major, the learning technologist from Futurelearn (the company we are partnered with to run some MOOCs). We currently have nine new MOOCs being developed, and it was lovely to gather together representatives from across the courses in one room.

It was a lively day – David is a fount of information about the FutureLearn portfolio, and as well as giving us lots of tips about how to design and run good MOOCs, he was able to show us a lot of resources from other MOOCs on the platform which gave us ideas about how we might (and might not) consider for our own offerings.

It was a really fulfilling day –  Vicki took some photos on her iPad so you can see how happy were all were (Sarah hid, and hopes she is not in any of them!).
